But, I love trains! I've loved trains even since I was young. In fact, last year I flew up to Seattle to apply for a position with Union Pacific (yes, I would've taken the train, but I only had a day to get there..*L*) I'm very excited about the idea of a High Speed Rail Line, but although it seems like on your blog, conservatives tend to all get lumped together, I want HSR to succeed! The only concern I've ever had (and I hope you can relate and understand it) is that the State of California has had a lot of problems balancing their budget, and my fear is politicians using HSR as a political football, and in the end, nothing gets done. But, I am going to vote for Prop 1A, and I'm doing my best at my job to let as many people know as possible.

But, the thing I'm looking forward to is money coming in to add more rail, better signaling, more cars to the current lines running in Southern California. (on a Saturday, taking Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner up to Santa Barbara usually means almost standing room only, which is a very good thing!)

But, I do enjoy your blog, but can you ease up a bit on the Republician/ Conservative bad railing? To me, It reduces the impact of your message.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4263762637946594105.post-68177382988268344152008-07-20T22:26:00.000-07:002008-07-20T22:26:00.000-07:00I am not affiliated with that organization (not th...I am not affiliated with that organization (not that I dislike their work, just a clarification on how the org chart works - they are not me and vice versa).
